Jarrod Adams

Raised in a military family, Jarrod Adams was born at Camp Lejeune, NC, and grew up being flown all around the world. However, he calls Texas his home, moving to Burkburnett, TX, in 2007 and graduating from Burkburnett High School in 2014. Jarrod trusted in Jesus as his Savior in 2017 and later answered God’s call to ministry, serving in both youth and worship ministry at churches in Iowa Park, TX, and Archer City, TX. He is also one-sixth of the popular local worship band: The Trent Murray Band. Having studied at Midwestern State University and Vernon College, Jarrod is currently pursuing a dual bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and master’s degree in counseling through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jarrod and his wife Lindsey have two children and moved from Iowa Park to Henrietta in 2024 to join the staff team at First Baptist Church. Jarrod leads the church in worship through music and leads the youth group to grow in both relationship with God and service to the community.
