Series: You’re Invited
Have you ever been invited to a party and wondered what you needed to bring, how to get there, or even if you belonged? This week, we will hear how Jesus welcomed Nicodemus’ questions and helped him understand what it means to believe in God’s plan through Jesus. Just like Nicodemus, we can bring all our questions and discover that we are invited to believe in Jesus!
February 11th- The Big Idea: I’m invited to believe in Jesus.
Our new memory verse:
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
John 1:12
RAs: Pinewood Derby WAC Association Race will be February 15th at 3PM in our fellowship hall.

Peter’s Rescue
Acts 12:1-17
Acts 12:1–17 reminds us that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. When King Herod arrested Peter and put him in prison, the church responded by praying earnestly for him. While guards stood watch and Peter slept in chains, God sent an angel to free him in a miraculous way—chains fell off, doors opened, and Peter walked out safely. At first, Peter could hardly believe what was happening, realizing only later that the Lord had truly rescued him.
When Peter arrived at the house where believers were gathered and praying, they were overjoyed to see that God had answered their prayers beyond what they expected. This story shows us that prayer is powerful and that God is always at work, even when situations seem impossible. He hears the prayers of His people and responds according to His perfect plan.
Text Truth: God hears and answers our prayers.

Big Idea: God’s creation shows his greatness!
Key Verse: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1
This week, kids learned that God’s creation shows His greatness. Through a fun dinosaur-themed game and Scripture, they discovered that God didn’t just create some things—He created everything, including land, sea, sky, animals, and even dinosaurs! Each dinosaur fact pointed back to Bible verses that clearly tell us God alone is the Creator of all things. Even the most incredible and mysterious creatures remind us how powerful, wise, and amazing God is.
Students also learned that although God created the world perfect, sin entered through Adam and Eve and changed creation. Because of sin, sickness, pain, and death came into the world, and many creatures no longer exist. Even so, creation still shows how great God is and how much He loves us. Out of everything God made, people are His most special creation. God sent Jesus to rescue us from sin so we can be forgiven and live with Him forever. Kids were encouraged to worship God, thank Him for His creation, and honor Him this week by noticing His handiwork and remembering that the great Creator loves them deeply.
